Benjamin is Colshaw Hall’s In-House and recommended pianist. Having entertained at Colshaw for many years, he has an intimate knowledge of the venue and its beautiful surroundings.
The grand piano that is in situ in the Ceremony Hall at Colshaw Hall is a wonderful instrument and one that has for many years belonged to the Irlam family. The beautiful sound of the piano in this stunning hall creates the perfect ambience for a romantic wedding ceremony. Benjamin can play in here throughout the ceremony, from when your guests are being seated through to the exit of the bride and groom.

The Walled Garden is a gorgeous location within Colshaw Hall for a ceremony and/or drinks reception. Weather permitting, Benjamin’s portable grand piano can be set up on the lawn for outdoor ceremonies and under the cover of the archway for drinks receptions. Speakers can also be set up along the back wall of the Peel Suite to ensure the piano will be heard clearly across the garden.
The Pavilion is another area within Colshaw Hall that can host your Drinks Reception. Situated next door to the main bar area, the Pavilion has comfortable seating and lots of space for you to mingle whilst you enjoy Benjamin’s musical entertainment over some welcome drinks and canapés.
Wedding Breakfasts at Colshall Hall take place in the fabulous Peel Suite. There are several places within this room that Benjamin’s piano can be situated. Speakers can be placed at various points around the Peel Suite that will enable you and your guests to hear the music at an appropriate level as you enjoy your meal, prepared by Barretts Event Caterers.
